First Meet October 22!
Hello all!
Sorry for the lack of posts this season! We have been very busy prepping for the upcoming meet and are planning great things this season. Be sure to read the post and check out the bottom for some exciting info about our 2016 Fall Invitational!
We are about a month into the season and things have been going very well! We have loads of new people and are having a great time getting to know each other. We've done a bunch of Fun Fridays and what not including the unofficial first practice trip to Puffers Pond and a hike up Mt. Sugarloaf! Team bonding is where it's at! Check us out atop Mt. Sugarloaf below!
EXCITING NEWS:
We have our first meet coming up on Saturday, October 22 at Boyden! Yay for the 2016 Fall Invitational! Warm-ups start at 11am and the meet will start around noon and continue until about 3pm. We are so excited to get some racing in and to have to some friendly competition! Check out the Facebook event here and share it with your friends!
We are looking for volunteers for timing and running score sheets, so if you are interested or know of someone who may be interested please email us at umassclubswimming@gmail.com. We would be happy to sign off on any volunteer hours you wish to collect from the meet.
