Eagle Invitational Spring 2024

UMass Club Swimming took 28 team members to Boston College for the Eagle Invitational this Saturday, February 10. Following team bonding with our new members on Friday night, swimmers rose with the sun to head east toward Chestnut Hill, MA. Our members competed against swim clubs from BC, UConn, Northeastern, and Holy Cross racing for PRs and National CCS Qualifying Times.

The following UMCS members raced times faster than the NQTs, and many not for the first time!

• Amanda Wojenski: 50yd Butterfly

• Lauren Graham: 50yd Breaststroke & 100yd Breaststroke

• Kelsey MacMillan: 100yd Butterfly & 50yd Butterfly & 50yd Freestyle

• Ben Doughty: 100yd Individual Medley

• Vianka Acosta McKenzie: 50yd Breaststroke & 100yd Individual Medley

After the meet, our swimmers headed home tired, hungry, and happy after a great day of successes. We couldn't be prouder of our team members who competed this weekend. The meet results can be found HERE.
