UMCS at the 2024 Valentine's Invitational

Over the long President's Day weekend, 24 UMCSers traveled to Burlington, Vermont for the 2024 Valentine's Invitational at UVM.

Arriving at Forbush Natatorium on Saturday to compete, the twenty swimmers from UMCS took 2nd place at the meet with 1,041 combined points.

The following swimmers raced swims within the CCS National Qualifying Times:

Bel Corder - 200 Freestyle & 100 Backstroke & 200 Backstroke

Celia Perks - 50 Backstroke

Kelsey MacMillan - 200 IM & 100 IM & 100 Breaststroke

Vianka Acosta Mckenzie - 100 IM

Josh Sautter - 100 Backstroke

David Del Rio - 200 Backstroke

Ilana Krebs - 50 Breaststroke

After the meet, our lovely group of swimmers explored Church Street and spent the night at a nearby hotel before returning to their vans and driving back to UMass the following day.
