UMass Club Swim

Krebs is a junior from Watertown, MA getting a dual degree in Environmental Microbiology (BDIC) and Portuguese. This is Krebs’ second term serving as President of the team. In addition to UMCS, she is a UMass Admissions Tour Guide, RecWell employee, and Researcher in a Microbiology lab. Krebs loves nature, science, meeting new people, and swimming. And she can’t wait for another year on EBoard!

Sophie is a sophomore from CO studying journalism, PR, communication, and business. Her favorite parts of UMCS are Wednesday night dinners at Hamp and giggling with her teammates. She is especially grateful for the community she found through UMCS. In addition to swim, Sophie writes for Her Campus at UMass, works on News for WMUA, has a rat dog, and never takes off her Apple Watch.

From the great city of Worcester Massachusetts is your new treasurer Reid Wynja. He is a junior majoring in Mechanical Engineering. A Boyden lane 5 regular who has been on the team since freshman year, he spends his time out of the water studying in the SEL or working in product compliance during college breaks. Reid can’t wait be the team’s treasurer for the upcoming year!

Jake Reid is a sophomore from East Longmeadow, Massachusetts double majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics. In addition to his time spent in the pristine waters of Boyden, he teaches swimming lessons and coaches for a local club team. Jake Reid’s favorite thing about UMCS is the amazing friendships the team has provided him with. He is super excited to be the team’s secretary for the upcoming year !

Jane is a sophomore from Westford, MA, pursuing English and Business. When she’s not giggling it up at Boyden, you can count on her to be asleep. In addition to UMCS, Jane is also a DJ for WMUA on campus, a member of UMass Surf Club, and UMOC. She is super duper excited to be a coach this year and giggle with new and old swimmers!

Kelsey is a junior from Morris Plains, New Jersey majoring in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. When she’s not splashing around in the pool, Kelsey can be found spending way too much money at bookstores or losing her voice at concerts. She is extremely excited to help coach the team in the coming year and is looking forward to dancing on the pool deck with all the new and returning swimmers.
